A. What is the most powerful image from the pictures printed in the Denver Post over the three weeks they published images from the year of coverage? Why? 

This picture is the most powerful because their in war. Bombs are going off and there in a situation to be killed or kill.












B. How do the images work together to tell a story?
They show the start then the middle then the end, it pretty much shows what goes on during the time being.

C. How do the captions enhance the photographs?
They explain whats happening and have a powerful message or they explain what is happening in that present time.

D. Summarize the story of Ian Fisher, based just on the captions.
 Ian wanted to join the army just like his dad did in honer. after high school was over he said bye to his family friends and left. when he gets there they work endless hours training. After a couple of weeks of training they go to war and half the squad dies. Weeks go on and he learns and finishes the basic skill. He has a girlfriend and he wants to propose to her on christmas. They train more and sometime he breaks his ankle and can't do much, and sooner or later they  break up. He gets better and go back, he has another girlfriend and and he feels he doesn't fit in which makes him break down to his old friend. he goes to platoon and they celebrate and him and his girlfriend get married.

E. For the photos in which Ian is the main subject of the photos, in what tense are the verbs usually written?

there present tense.

F:1. How many sentences are they on average? 2-5
2. Read the first sentence of a couple of them, what information do they provide? i tells what happens in his life and what he goes threw.
3. Read the second sentences of a couple of them, what information do they provide? Giving details.
4. If there is a third sentence, what information does it provide? quotes. 
5. Do any captions include a quote? yes they do.
6. Are there any that have four sentences? yes.

G. Why do you think it is possible to tell a complete story with just photos and captions? it is because they tell you what happens and give details thats big in the story.

H. If you can create a story with just photos and captions, why bother writing a story at all? you need a story because it gives more depth into the story to tell more of the caption.
